Firstly let me begin this blog by wishing everyone a very HAPPY EASTER, I hope that the bunny was kind to you and that you allowed yourself some freedom to enjoy the chocolately goodness, I know I did - all in moderation of course :)
Now that's been said its back to business as usual which for me means back to my Herbalife (detox) and Personal Training Sessions.
A component of today's session with Craig was Single Legged Deadlifts (with the 20kg bar).
As soon as he mentioned that we were doing them my mind shut down and my head started to hurt as it was filled with self doubt.
What if my knee isn't strong enough to hold me? I know that I have done heavier weight but that was with both legs! I don't think I can keep my balance. I'm going to slow. Come on FFS just do it!! (This is some of the self talk).
Despite all of that I still did it!! Admittedly not as perfectly as I would of liked but that just gives me something to work on and perfect. It's time to trust that my 'not so perfect knee' wont let me down.
This question applies to so many things in life....Does fear hold you back?
Answer this question with honesty so that you can then release it as fear is the resistance that keeps us locked into our frozen energy patterns. Consciousness (awareness) is the vibrational shift that keeps the cycle of existence turning. It gives us the ability to create heaven on earth and the knowledge to manifest and achieve what we wish for. It creates peace in the face of war and tolerance when all around there is none. It releases compassion, expanding our perceptions, dissolving veils. We have the ability to actively and 'consciously' choose to change our reality. Our minds have such an amazing ability that if we believe in something enough, it ultimately comes true.
Choose hope instead of fear and give the intent to 'consciously' be all that you can be.
This week I plan on doing just that, I will conquer my fear by learning to balance again and trusting that my knee can in fact do it.

I have noticed that I have mentioned the word 'PERFECT' a couple of times throughout this blog post and I wanted to clarify that I believe perfection is purely a state of mind but still something worth striving towards. That to some could come across as a cat's chasing ones tail especially if expectation (state of mind) is set highly, but to me its about finding the excellence along the way. Perhaps practice really does make "perfect".
